For nearly twenty years,
I’ve photographed celebrations across Ireland and Europe
Beautiful places are part of it.
But I've always been most interested in the people
families, friendships, personality, style, and everything
that happens when they come together.
I know when a photograph needs something extra from me,
and when it needs nothing at all.
I want photographs with presence.
Refined, but never without personality.
Some are created.
Others simply happen.
Both belong.
Because a great celebration deserves
more than beautiful pictures.
It deserves photographs with character.
From the beginning, we felt entirely at ease with Wim. His experience gave us confidence, while his warmth made having him there feel completely natural.
We could fully immerse ourselves in the celebration and the people around us, knowing the photography was in very good hands.
